WILL MY HEALTH INSURANCE COVER DIETITIAN SERVICES?

Medicare provides rebates to individuals that have chronic conditions who are managed through a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan or formerly known as Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan. 5 free sessions are provided to these individuals annually. All you need is a referral letter from a general practitioner (GP). We may charge you the gap payment^.

For private health insurance, depending on the plan selected, part of the fee is covered by private health insurance.

^ Out-of-pocket costs between what the medical services provider charges you and what Medicare will give you back (the gap payment).
